I got the news this week that Joe McVey’s son, Charlie is back on his bike and giving his Dad a hard time after just a few weeks back on the bike .. Charlie’s come-back is nothing short of AMAZING .. Over TWO years ago Charlie was knocked off his feet with a very bad case of Meningitis and Septicaemia .. It was touch and go for a few days , but Charlie is a fighter and I am SO pleased he is back on the bike and he is just such a great talent . He lives in France with his parents and he was a Superb Junior , winning countless races .. I hope to see him back in the peleton again before the end of season and winning again next year !!
