My last ride in the Porthole GP against Darryl Webster. You can see from the pic I was sponsoring myself, trying to get some publicity for our very ailing business at the time.
We had one of the biggest and certainly the best bike shops in the Country at the time with 7 staff. BUT there was a big recession going on and we were desperate to save it ... We failed to save it, but I still managed to beat Darryl this day despite all the crap that was going on in my mind!
