Jez joined the Dave Lloyd "gang" in November 2006 and immediately impressed Dave with his will to train hard and his determination to be the very best he could be. He has a real hunger to win and is a fantastic natural climber. In 2007 Jez has had his best season by far (so far) and won the Tour of Sussex which was a huge win for him.
He was second in the Tour of the Milburys with a fine win in the road stage. He was also second in the Duo Normand with his partner and only just over a minute behind the winner Ben Instone. Another fantastic ride was towards the end of the season when Jez smashed his 25 mile TT PB with a 53'25" in the Epsom CC event where he improved by an unbelievable 5 MINUTES.... Jez is now looking forward to a great, hard winter,with some good training rides with Dave in North Wales (where he loves to show off his climbing prowess).
There is a lot more to come from Jez in 2008 and lots for him (and Dave) to look forward to !
