Jane came to Dave as an Enduro Mountain Bike athlete. She is from an extreme sport background, having been a "mad" rock climber in the past. She was always getting injured in the MTB races and Dave slowly weaned Jane off the MTB side and she started riding the road and time trials.
Jane is just SO strong and came out on quite a few "Sunday bashes" with Dave and various of his athletes last winter and she sure can climb! This year she has had some great results, both on the road, where she murders the girls at Thruxton and on the Time Trial scene. Here she has done two superb PB's this year with a 57'24" in a 25 mile TT, and 21'22" in a 10 mile TT.She also did a magnificent ride in La Marmotte where her endurance from the MTB scene came into it's own.
Dave thinks Jane can be a top bike rider as her strength is amazing. She just needs another winter learning some more skills and more experience on the road. She has the potential to take the road scene by storm !
