Bart Glover came to Dave nearly one year ago with many health problems caused by years of excess and owning 4 restaurants in Southern Ireland and time had taken it's toll on Bart's health. Smoking did the most damage and his breathing was causing big problems.
Dave took all of this on board and Bart worked his ass off training for Sportives and Road Races. This summer he has competed in Road Races and ridden the Wicklow 200 and La Marmotte. He had an operation on his nasal passages which went disastrously wrong, but Dave and Bart are working through this now and with Bart's dedication and mad Irish wit, they are getting through it and next year Bart has BIG plans. The fact that he may not get them is not in the equation.. WHEN BART SAYS HE IS GOING TO DO SOMETHING. IT GETS DONE!
