I am beginning to form an idea about bringing out a range of bikes using my design experience I have gathered over the last 40 years in the bike game ...
I would like to pass on the ideas I have for a range of bikes for Road, Sportives, Time Trials and Track ... They will be based on the wonderful bikes I have ridden over the past , and in particular the last 3-4 years with Viner . I have been overwhelmed with the quality of the design and above all the PERFORMANCE of these bikes and frames and would like to have some input into the design myself to fine tune some of the bikes and tweek them here and there to make what I would regard as the ... ULTIMATE BIKE for every occasion ..
I know this has been done by many other professionals in the Cycling World, but not many have spent 40 years in the game and actually spent 13 years of that time building their own frames WITH THEIR OWN HANDS , which I have done ! Now I have seen what can be done with Carbon Fibre and I just love this material for the building of the "ULTIMATE" bike frame . I also know that, for me , the best of the builders in this material is a guy called Marco Bertoletti .
I am going to see if it is possible to work with this guy and launch a range of frames (yet to be branded) using my input and both of our experiences from riding them (me) to actually putting them together (Marco) and see what we can come up with ... I think it would be an enormously exciting project and also a unique partnership to give all you guys out there the ULTIMATE IN RACE FRAME TECHNOLOGY !!
