Here we are on the verge of another new season and already one of my athletes, Jez Ponting, has had an open TT win (his first)! As usual I am so looking forward to the new challenges each year brings, and I get such a buzz as the new season gets going. I also learn so much as each year comes and goes and I look back over my time as a full time coach as the happiest time of my life!I have gained more satisfaction from seeing you guys reach (or exceed) your goals than all the wins I had in my career. It is just unbelievably gratifying for me to see someone's dream come true, and I have been a part of it. I have been so lucky to have had, and still have SUPERB athletes to coach and have had some unbelievable results over the years. But I get as much of a kick from seeing anyone achieve their own personal goal, whatever that might be. From beating the hour for 25 miles, to National Championships, to Olympic and World stardom!Each year also seems to get busier and this year is no exception. With my own Training Camp coming up in two weeks, my new Mega Challenge Sportive to organise, my writing which continues apace and you guys keeping me "on my toes"! I also love the bike myself and my own Sportive Season will be something for me to relish. I'm really looking forward to La Marmotte again this year with some unfinished business there for me personally!As usual though, you guys come first for me ... And you can be sure of one thing... I WILL GIVE YOU 100%.... All you have to do is reciprocate. This coaching lark is quite simple really... GIVE 100%, GET 100% BACK.... JOB DONE !I LOVE IT ....
