FABULOUS WEEKEND RESULTS ....

Article Published : 19/06/11

JUST ANOTHER INCH WOULD HAVE DONE IT KARA !!

It's been a fantastic wekend for Dave's athletes, who are proving , yet again, to be the best in the Country.. FABULOUS !!

Donal Linehan and Harriet Whewell both had wins in the two stager in Portsmouth at the weekend.. Donal was second in the TT first stage (by 0.49 sec) and second in the Crit second stage , winning overall and moving up to a SECOND CAT RIDER .. Donal was also second in a Crit last Monday in Ludgershall.. Looking great for the Master's Champs Donal...!  Harriet won her TT by 6 seconds and was pipped for second place in the Crit, but a big win overall.. TWO OUTSTANDING RIDES... WELL DONE TO BOTH RIDERS...

Kara Chesworth  is back to her very best when she attacked practically from the off in the Stratford Womens Team National Series race and was joined by two others to make a race long winning break where she was pipped by centimetres on the line and could easily have won.. You will see from the pic she was past the winner shortly after the line.. JUST MISSED THE WIN, BUT BACK TO YOUR BEST KARA .. JUST IN TIME FOR THE NATIONALS !!

Hamish Carrick was a very close second in the Dumfries Crit on Sunday .. Hamish is one of Dave's new recruits and is flying already.. WELL DONE HAMISH !!

Tom Cunningham has been putting in some great performances of late and in the State TT Champs in Columbia (USA) he was very close (6 seconds) to a Silver medal , but just mised out to take a very well deserved third place to claim the Bronze!.. GREAT RIDE TOM ...

Lauren Creamer is absolutely flying at the moment and she won a Criterium in South Wales at the weekend, dominating the race from start to finish.. SHE TOO IS LOOKING GOOD FOR A GREAT RIDE IN THE NATIONALS !!

Paul Tomkins was 6th in his big TT on Sunday , a 25 mile TT where he beat a lot of top names  and recording a fast 55 minutes 32 seconds !! He and is coming on in leaps and bounds this year after the back trouble that has plagued his career over the last years.. GREAT TO SEE YOU IMPROVING SO MUCH PAUL.. MUCH MORE TO COME TOO !!
